About CTP-SCU 中心概况
The Center for Theoretical Physics, Sichuan University (CTP-SCU) is a research unit within the College of Physics, Sichuan University. It was established in 2002 based on the former Theoretical Physics Teaching and Research Section of the College of Physics. Since 2010, the center has been supported by the Special Fund for Theoretical Physics from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. As a supporting unit for the Ph.D. program of theoretical physics under the physics discipline, the center undertakes the theoretical physics development project of Sichuan University. With effort we try to build an internationally competitive research center, promote interdisciplinary collaborations with other areas, and contribute to the development of physics research in China, especially in the Western Region.
四川大学理论物理中心（CTP-SCU）是四川大学物理学院下属的研究单位，于2002年在物理学院原理论物理教研室的基础上成立。自2010年起，中心得到国家自然龙八国际官登录委员会理论物理专款支持。作为物理学一级学科博士学位授权点的理论物理方向依托单位，中心承担着四川大学理论物理学科建设的任务，努力建设成为具有国际竞争力的研究中心，并促进与其它学科的交叉合作，为推动龙八国际官登录国内特别是西部地区在物理研究领域的发展作出贡献。

Aims and Plans 目标规划
- Pursues research excellence in theoretical physics and beyond. By recruiting high-quality talents and taking reginal advantages, we try to form a characteristic research atmosphere.
开展理论物理相关学科的高水平研究。通过引进高素质人才，结合地域优势，形成具有特色的研究氛围。 - Promotes collaboration among researchers from China and abroad. By hosting conferences and workshops, inviting people for seminar talks and short visits, we try to establish a collaborative platform.
促进国内外学者间交流。通过开展学术会议和专题研讨会，邀请专家报告和短期访问，形成活跃的合作平台。 - Trains young scientists in various areas of theoretical physics. By consolidating the PhD and Postdoctoral program, and supporting young people to attend local and international scientific programs, we try to build a sustainable research group.
培养理论物理各领域的青年学者。通过加强博士点与博士后流动站的建设，资助青年学者参加国内外学术活动，建设可持续发展的研究团队。
